While I am generally concerned about the real estate tax rate in Chatham, I'd also like to have a better understanding of the need and benefits of this project.
What is the enrollment forecast for the next 10-15 years?
Will this project reduce or increase operating costs?
How can we taxpayers get an understanding of whether our money is being used efficiently to provide a quality education?
We will need much more information than simply a budget and a proposed tax increase!

47 million! We the tax payers will foot this bill. Our school taxes are almost as much as our mortgage now. I vote NO! North Chatham Resident.
